Chamber musicians dedicated to renaissance and 20th century composition.

Schola Cantorum of William & Mary: Welcome!

Welcome to the home of The William & Mary Schola Cantorum, an entirely student-directed chamber choir dedicated to musical composition throughout the centuries. Modeled in part on the university chapel choirs of Oxford and Cambridge, our ensemble sings from a broad, varied repertoire of sacred and secular music. Since spring of 2010, the Schola has been championing the top quality of performance, collaborating with student conductors and composers, and joining forces with the College’s many fine student instrumentalists.

We are delighted to announce the Schola’s eighth season. This academic year, we welcome the leadership and musical fervor of Palmer Foran, Assistant Music Director, and I am privileged to return as musical director. The Schola will begin the 2017–2018 season with a newly constituted roster, and an exciting new music list.

Whether you’ll be joining us as a singer, a concertgoer, or supporter, we hope to see you soon!

Warmest regards,

Virginia E. Tilley, Music Director
