The William & Mary Schola Cantorum: Welcome!
We are The William & Mary Schola Cantorum, an entirely student-directed chamber choir dedicated to renaissance and twentieth century composition. Modeled in part on the university chapel choirs of Oxford and Cambridge, our ensemble sings from a broad, varied repertoire of sacred and secular music.
This spring marks the fifth year of the group’s existence. We are thrilled to have been a part of the proud tradition of the William & Mary Schola Cantorum, and look forward to seeing the ensemble through to the future. Additionally, the Schola is honored to celebrate the 300th Anniversary of Bruton Parish Church in Colonial Williamsburg with an Evensong Service this semester.
So whether you’ll be joining us as a singer, a concertgoer, or supporter, we hope to see you soon!
All the best,
Jacob Robins ’16
