The William & Mary Schola Cantorum: Welcome!

The William & Mary Schola Cantorum is an entirely student-directed chamber choir dedicated to renaissance and twentieth century composition. Modeled in part on the university chapel choirs of Oxford and Cambridge, the Schola sings from a broad and varied repertoire of sacred and secular music.

The Schola recently completed its fourth season. This semester, the Schola was delighted to perform a concert together with CNU Voices, a highly selective student-run vocal ensemble from Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Virginia. This was the Schola’s first off-campus concert, presented in addition to many of the Schola’s regular engagements.

We hope you enjoyed this season and that you will join us again in the 2012-2013 academic year for another exciting set of engagements!
